RIVER RUNNERS RUN CLUB

Looking to add some fun to your running routine? Join the River Runners Run Club! Each week we will meet in a new location somewhere in the general area of Rockford, MN. This group welcomes all runners of all abilities. Whether you are an ultra runner, a 5K racer, or a non-racer, this group is meant for people who simply love to run and to connect with other runners.

FALL/WINTER HOURS IN EFFECT:  All Runs start at 8:00 a.m. on Saturdays. 

RUN CLUB FOR SATURDAY, JANUARY 5TH WILL BE RIVERSIDE PARK IN ROCKFORD!

We are at our winter home run location this week – Riverside Park in Rockford.  Bring ideas of other places to run during the winter. Coming up in the next week or two, we will be doing a spin class in Medina and sometime after that, we will do a trail run on either the mountain bike trail or the horse trail. Winter running can be a ton of fun, and we are ready for the winter! Remember to dress in layers, and dress for temps that are about 15-20 degrees warmer than it really is. You don\’t want to dress too warm – that can be pretty miserable! 🙂

We meet at 8:00 on Saturday mornings, but if there are any changes to this, they will be posted here and on our River Runners Run Club Facebook page. The River Runners Run Club wishes to welcome anyone who enjoys running to join us each Saturday morning. The more people we have, the more fun we have! One of our goals is to have enough people so that we can be certain that no one runs alone.  Every runner is welcome regardless of pace or experience. Our Saturday runs are pretty casual. Connecting with each other and getting caught up with the latest scoop is our main concern on these runs! Our club is a very welcoming, friendly group and we\’d love to have you join us, and even better yet – bring a friend!  Meet us there by 7:55 and we\’ll hit the road or paved trail 8:00. Any distance  Any pace. See you Saturday!
